Summary
Play based on the true historical racial event in 1925 Detroit, where a Black family bought a home in a White district. Whites harassed the house, Blacks shot two White men, one man died. Murder trial commensed against the Black family. The famous lawyer Clarence Darrow (Inherit the Wind - the Scopes Monkey Trial in Tennessee) represented the Black family. First trial, hung jury. Second trial family acquitted. I performed as Detective Johnson, the Detroit cop who interrogated the Black husband and wife.
