Summary
In the future firefighters do not put fires out, they start them. They burn books. Books and the people who read them are bad. They encourage thought and freedom. One man named Guy Montag was a firefighter until he met an unsual girl named Clarise. She and her grandfather help Montag to see the good in books. And he does. They stir things up a bit in their quite little town.
