Summary
Tina Shields is married to a man that is all bout his career. He has an affair with the Bosses daughter and they have a baby. Her husband Michael is sent a letter from the State's Welfare department stating he has 30 days to claim the baby or she will be put up for adoption. Tina is forced to raise another woman's baby while she is trying to have one on her own. She takes out her frustation on the little girl (Deacon) when her husband stays at work late or travels. They do make up and Deacon is told she is adopted. The family mends, Michael dies.
