At the early age of seven I knew that I was a gift from the universe here to create and born to entertain.
My earthly father sung in a quartet and after each of his performance I would get up in front for the crowd and sang my song âHave faith hope and charityâ, entertaining was in my bones.
As I grew older I begin to perform in drama plays high school and church and sung in the chorus. In 1971 I received a college scholarshi... Moreps for voice and music. Sung in a quartet of my own while being invited too many public speaking engagements.
After serving and returning from the U.S. Navy I reconnected with my collegiate chorus and performed for the alumni association. Several public announcement on local radio stations and a political campaign advertising.
In 2011 my wife of 39 years ask why do something with your voice. My search begin with visiting websites, blogs and any social media I could find that included information about the voice acting industry.
After my search I enrolled as a student with Suchavoice a Voice-Over Training and Demo Production Company and enrolled as a voice student at Conway Institute of Music to develop and improve my range, ear training, breath control, vibrato, tone production, enunciation and more.
I purchased equipment and setup my professional home audio recording studio, created my first voice acting demos and now ready for work.
My stage name VoiceByRoy a highly motivated jazzy blues Voice Actor, Storyteller. African American male with a Southern English accent. Mature bass-baritone voice, middle-age, smooth, seductive, soothing, yet powerful with authority tone providing the highest quality in Movies Trailers, Documentaries, Promo, Audio Books, and Narrations. Inspired and stimulate by the entertainment and business industry of Voice Acting. I love my work as a voice actor a gift from the universe, embraced with a keen sense of humor and a heartfelt spirit. Iâm having a good time making fun of myself and I can laugh at myself too.
