Hi! Im Patrick Duff, a new entry into this wonderful and exciting profession. I am working on building a resume as we speak, however I would like to use this space to introduce myself. I was born in Queens NY, and was raised by my grandmother. Ours was a poor family, so there was no money for luxury items. Now that I think back, I had everything I needed. In school,I was shy, because I was smaller then everyone else. I also had to fight everyday because of my short stature.

In High School, the only classes I actually attended were auto shop and lunch. I cut the rest of my classes and hung out by the pond next door. Dont ask me how I graduated.

Upon Graduation, I went to college for engineering, and failed out. I came home with my tail between my legs, and my uncle told me "Patrick, either get a job, go back to school or join the navy." I didnt want to work, and school left a bad taste in my mouth, so I joined the navy. AFter I got there, I found out it was work. It was also a drinkers paradise, free booze, just toss on a uniform. All of a sudden I wasnt shy and could talk to women. I could do things in that uniform, and with a little liquid courage that I had not been able to do before . It was amazing! Upon leaving the navy, for fighting with a senior enlisted person, I some clint eastwood movies, and said "Thats what I wanna do! " So I rented a bunch of classic movies like, Citizen Kane, The Godfather, Raging Bull, American Graffitti, etc. The more I watched, the more hungry I desired this career. There was only one thing stopping me, a job where I could support myself and pursue this at the same time. Now I teach, but my real passion is acting.
