She is also a former Ravens cheerleader for the NFL’s cheerleading squad (Baltimore, M.D.). Cubie has always participated in enriching activities. For instance, summer of 1998, she audition and won a scholarship to study dance at the American Dance Federation at Duke University in N.C. at 13, 1999 she was 14 and she entered a regional audition in Puerto Rico and was selected to study dance with the Alvin Ailey Dance Company summer youth program, 2001, she attended a “Circus Camp” at Illinois State University, where she learned her acrobats. She has also danced for several shows, back in the Virgin Islands acting, modeling, and dancing. Cubie’s no stranger as well when it comes to beauty pageants, and representing her hometown. 2000 winner of the title “United States Virgin Islands Hal Jackson Talented Teen, 3rd runner up out of 35 girls in the “International Hal Jackson Talented Teen competition”, she won the crown over 12 other young ladies in the “Caribbean Talented Teen” competition at 16. The age of 18 years old, she also won U.S.V.I. Carnival Queen, pronounced as the 50th Anniversary Queen.

After graduating she then moved on to touring as a dancer and a choreographer in the U.S. for Snoop Dog, and Mr. Cheeks (for the “lost boys”). She also danced for the Summer Jam Festival, in New Jersey last year for Mr. Cheeks. Short while after Cubie got her Associates Degree in fine arts from Howard Community College, then moved to Los Angeles, C.A. to obtain her license as a Hair stylist, and a Make-up artist from Amy Award Academy for Hair and Make-up. Testing her work and moving on in life as a hair and make-up, she has managed to book gigs, magazines from L.A. such as “B.E.” (BLACK ELEGANCE), THE CORE, AND BLAIR MAGAZINE. Working on Music on music video sets she did make up, and hair for Christine Millian “Say I” backup dancer, also make-up for BET’s College Hill Reality show. Whenever visiting the Virgin Islands, she works as a private high school cheerleading coach and choreographer, and also helps out as a beauty pageant coach as well. Right before she left for New York, Cubie was sent to Houston, T.X. with the representatives from the U.S.V.I. to do their hair and make up for the “MISS ROYALTY” pageant. In the big city of New York, she is now the head hair stylist and make-artist for After Shock talent and modeling agent, and she is still looking for more. Her plan is to get into to Union, and get her master make-up license for prosthetic make-up (scars and bruises).
