Retired Special Education high school teacher. My acting career began in 1957. While I was in the Army 1958-1960 started to direct and design sets. From 1960-1998 while acting less frequently continued to direct and design some 75 productions performed in Wiesbaden Germany, San Diego, CA, Washington, DC, and New York, NY. Retired from teaching in 1999 and in 2007 decided to retrain myself as an actor. I was a member of Actors' Equity Association, but ended that union affiliation when I became a member of the United Federation of Teachers. While working in Washington, DC I did films for the US Government and made local commercials. In my youth I danced both classical ballet and musical theater. I hold a Bachelor's degree from Oberlin College in Speech and Drama, 1956 and a Master's in Theater from Purdue University, August 1957.
