  • About me
    Memphis, Tennessee, United States
From an early age I knew that I wanted to act. As a child, I always had a very active imagination that would easily transport me to different places and become many characters as I read a variety of children’s stories.

Today, I still find it easy to slip into role and “become” various characters. I knew that performing was something I wanted to do. I wanted to engage an audience and help them step into the world of my characters…. I want an audience to see what I see, feel what I feel and experience what I go through with characters. Some skills are learned, but others are just “giftings” from above. I truly believe I have a gift to perform. Therefore, I’m obligated to share that talent and allow it to prosper, and not just in my life. I believe I have this talent so that I can touch the lives of others, as well.

It’s never too late to follow your dreams, especially if Destiny demands it. I am super thrilled to pursue my love of acting, modeling and voice work. Why did I start so late in the game? Well, life definitely happened and now opportunities to pursue my passions have unfolded in such a time as this. I was born in Trenton, NJ and relocated my family to the southern US when I could no longer stand the cold! I was always involved in theatrical productions in high school, but began pursuing acting again after my children grew up. I was a single mom who put life on hold to ensure the successes of my children. I got a taste of the entertainment business when a friend asked me to become a radio DJ for his local gospel station. My radio show became very popular and ratings shot through the roof! I was then asked to become music director, so that all radio announcers were successful with their shows as well. I also wrote radio commercials and started doing voiceovers.

Later on, I landed my first starring role in a major play in Memphis, TN entitled “Never Too Late” which was written, produced and directed by Kenyon Cook of KAC Entertainment. My love of acting was reignited! Favor was once again extended to me when I was selected to be an extra in the movie “The Grace Card” taped in Memphis. I was originally told I would sit in a jury box with several others jurors during a courtroom scene. I thought, “Okay. That’s cool, but I’d probably get lost amongst other faces.” But once I arrived at the set, I was informed a change had been made and I was selected to portray a Defense Attorney instead. Can I say, “Lotsa camera time!!” Surprisingly, I felt totally at ease and comfortable in front of the camera on set of this major film production. I can actually say I felt at home. Being on that set was confirmation for me that performing was what I wanted to do.

I have a knack for portraying complex characters, and would love to sink my teeth into a role that stretched even my vast imagination. All I can say now is….watch out Hollywood, there’s a Kingdom Citizen on the loose!
