Adesina Sanchez, or Desi for short, is a multi-faceted, true creative, with credits in film, broadcasting, print, and more. A born and raised New Yorker, she brings together the best of all worlds, with her multi-ethnic heritage and talents in drama, comedy, visual art, and music.

You can see Desi weekly in over 85 cities co-hosting the nationally syndicated TV program, LatiNation, a magazine-style show that represents a new generation of Latinos living in the U.S. She has also VJ'ed with MTV Networks; appeared nationally hosting network TV specials such as Sonidos; presents and corresponds for various internet TV shows, and can frequently be seen guest hosting various local cable programs and live events as well.

In other media, Desi has held leading roles in several independent films, shorts, and even an Off-Broadway play. In addition, she has been the face of commercials, magazines, catalogues, and print ad campaigns, and was recently also named an official 1050 ESPN/JETS model.

But don't forget the music! This year, Desi was named one of Maxim Espanol’s Hottest Latinas in Music: Trained in piano since childhood at the Brooklyn/Queens Conservatory of Music and privately tutored in voice and on the electric guitar, Desi was recently scouted by a major music production company and is working on her first album: a unique blend of hard rock, latin, and urban elements realized through her intricate original lyrics and melodies.

Speaking of vocal talent, Desi is also an experienced radio voiceover artist, having done countless scripted and improvised comedic skits on local FM radio including 105.9 and Power 105.1 here in New York, as well as commercial spots across the country. Her voice can also be heard on Sirius Satellite’s worldwide Octane radio channel, branding the station’s name and announcing new key musical acts that have been added to rotation several times each hour to millions of listeners.

And this creative chica doesn't limit herself when it comes to artistic outlets: educated in graphic design at SVA in New York, she was a successful freelance painter & designer for two years before embarking on her entertainment career -- in fact, she still keeps her pencils out for impromptu sketching sessions whenever the muse inspires her.
