Hasan was born in Amherst, MA and at the age of 7 moved to Sudan where he lived for 4 years. He moved back to the United States at the age of 11 and took up acting his sophomore year in high school. His first high school play was a musical titled "Side Show". He had roles in other productions throughout his high school years but his senior year was his defining moment. He played the lead role in "Othello - Act V" as Othello at the Virginia Theatre Association festival in 2004 where he received Best Actor award. He then got a role in the Wild West Stunt show at Six Flags America in Maryland. He has been an extra in the feature film "Step Up" with Channing Tatum, "Step Up 2: The Streets" with Briana Evigan and Rob Hoffman, and a historical short film entitled "George Washington: A man of Decision". In 2005 he completed filming a short film "Lyfe and Tymes" playing the role of Vernon. His most recent work has been in The Source Festival in Washington D.C. in a 24-hour play called "Trilogy" written by David Stott and directed by Colin Hovde. Note: A 24-hour play is a play that is conceived, written, directed, teched, and performed in front of an audience in 24 hours.

He is currently attending George Mason University and is majoring in Information Technology. After he graduates with his bachelor's, he plans on attending The School for Film and Television's two-year conservatory in New York. He was the the men's basketball team manager during his freshman year in 2006 and went with them on the road to the Final Four. He has been sky diving twice, has met numerous celebrities, and is currently working on his own website. He is also a 1st degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do in which he achieved in 5 years. In his spare time he raps as a hobby.
