Kathy Lynn Walker-Bey
Stage Name : Peaches
My name is Kathy Walker-Bey, known to most as Peaches. I am a 34 yrs. old young woman who is full of beauty, ambition and the desire to succeed. I am motivated in being a perfectionist because I believe you should give you’re all to succeed and be the best to accomplish your goals. I was born in Toledo, OH and raised in Flint, MI. I graduated from Beecher High School, Class Of 1989. From 7th grade to 12 grade I was active in cheerleading, pom-pom, track and choir.
I sing alto and soprano. I have sung in school choirs and church. I am currently a member of the International Society of Poetry. I have several web pages to express my talent : web pages at explore talent(kathywalkerbey.exploretalent.com), one model place #250865 and soundclick.com/peaches. This helps to enhance and further my chances in completing my goals and dreams in singing, acting and modeling.
I currently write my own songs. My songs are written in a variety of styles such as R&B, Hip-hop and Rap. Some songs have male verses and solos. I am a strong writer and singer.
I am currently a UAW Automaker. I have worked for General Motors since 1998. Building cars has been a great experience for me. But, yet there still is a gap in my life. I want to indulge my dreams of becoming a singer, model and/or actress.
I am a mother of 4 beautiful children (2 girls and 2 boys)and a nephew. In the beginning, I had to choose to follow my dreams in hope that there would be a pay check somewhere down the road or get a job with a regular weekly check. So you can see how my dream came to an end for the moment. But now since they have gotten a little older, I feel that I owe myself to try and continue on with what I wanted to do before and fill the gap in my life. To accomplish my dreams instead of letting them keep passing me by. So here I am doing what I do best., writing, modeling and singing.
