“ANYA”, The Lioness of Life’s Jungle, deriving from the beautiful island of Trinidad, born and half-raised in Malick, Barataria. She is entrenched with the bloodstream of multitask-ness, which was brought unto the runways of Trinidad at age five, where she modeled for JAZZ Creations. Her catwalk is also tattooed on many runways in New York, from the Lobby, to the Brooklyn Museum, to the Jacob Jarvis Center etc. She has a creative streak of genius, which unfolds her ability to draw (architecture), design (clothing), sing, write, and steal the limelight wherever she appears. “ANYA” has done numerous poetry performances at locations such as Medgar Evers College, Nuyorecann Poets Café, The Federal Plaza, etc. At age eighteen she began putting together a compilation of poems, which she’s built over a period of time; wherefore, she has unveiled her deepest thoughts and inner emotions on paper. She has made the decision that the world needs to claim, take hold, and determine their future which is why she shares in the openness of here cerebrum. This has led her to the soon publication of her self- written book of living poetry entitled, “Street Gem”, and its sister project "Street Wife". “ANYA” is her birth name, which represents: Strength, Determination and Courage, and boy does she live up to that. This dynamically innovative woman with the personification of a heavenly being in many forms is remembered where’er she is present. She has a passion also for the entertainment world, which she found fit to her at the command of, “action”. Consequently, she has been a part of the movie “Interpreter” starring Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn, which is understood to have been her first movie- shoot ever, and certainly not her last. She recalls that first experience of one in which she was highly appreciated and remembered by name at the end of her partaking with them. One thing we can be sure of with this woman, she never gives up, she is determined as her name so does speak, and she strives for perfection. Learn to love her and respect her truths, for “ANYA” stands behind a face and voice that will be one of remembrance.
