Carissa is a classy, sassy, and fun entertainer. She is currently adding Midwest charm to the city of Memphis, TN. Carissa was born in Jefferson City, Missouri in 1983. She was raised in Fulton where she later graduated William Woods University with a broadcasting degree. She has worked as on-air radio and television talent for 5 years and recently migrated into a career that allows her to enjoy her love for motorsports. Carissa is an actress and country singer/ songwriter. Her path consists of competing in local, state and national competitions, musical theater, a CMT reality show, Ms. Gateway International, fairs, bar gigs, church solos, singing our nation’s anthem at NASCAR affiliated events, Missouri State fair idol, and for the first time in 2009 as an opening act on the main stage. She is currently preparing to record her original album, coordinating sponsorships and looking for new management. She primarily performs in Memphis and surrounding areas with occasional visits back to her home state of Missouri.
