OBJECTIVE:

The opportunity to expand and develop my performance repertoire in the film medium


SUMMARY:

I have extensive experience in front of a crowd as a performer and host of several music shows throughout the Midwest and Northeast. I am beginning to expand my performance horizons to include film and am enrolled in an acting workshop in the city to that end. I am also appearing in many roles as an extra and am confident that the combination of my performance skills and unique stage presence will be an asset to your project.


PERFORMING ARTS EXPERIENCE:


Film and Television Experience
• Recently finished shooting with Sundance film director, Sam Neave, for the film First Person Singular starring Amy Redford.
• Under consideration for a small role in American Gangster to possibly begin in November. Note: If I were to receive a part in your show, I would consider it a priority.
• Appeared in several small roles as an extra.
• Enrolled in an acting workshop, The Sledge Project, in Manhattan and will be performing a monologue for industry professionals at its conclusion.
• Have appeared in many television and radio interviews related to my performing arts career


Hosting and Performance in the Music
• Front man for alternative blues rock band, Rob Roy Mountjoy, currently playing shows throughout the Northeast including the upcoming Emergenza music festival
• Hosted, developed, and performed in a weekly show at CBGB’s for three months. Dubbed “the best music showcase to be featured in a long time at CBGBs” by club personnel.
• Hosted, developed, and performed in a Tuesday weekly showcase at Manhattan’s Underground Lounge for over a year. Created the club’s highest grossing night of the week.
• Hosted and performed in a year long weekly showcase at the world famous Grand Emporium in Kansas City, Missouri



Miscellaneous
• Appeared in many venues throughout the Midwest in a short stint as a stand-up comedian further developing stage presence and performance skills.
