KeriAynn Strickler is a vocal and instrumental music teacher in Oak Park, Illinois. Ms. Strickler was active in high school and community theatre before beginning her formal studies in the Fine Arts. She received her Associate of Arts degree in Opera Performance from Phillips University in 1990, her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts with a Musical Theatre major/communications and Television minor from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1996, her Master of Arts Degree in Theatre from Oklahoma State University in 2000, and received her Certification in Editing from the University of Chicago in 2001. Strickler's theatre credits include Children of a Lesser God (Mrs. Norman), Reckless (Trish), Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Dwarfs), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Quince), Dancing at Lughnasa (Kate) and Crimes of the Heart (Lennie)--to name a few. She has also been the Stage Manager, Make-Up Designer, and Director for numerous productions. Strickler was a Graduate Teaching Assistant for three years in the theatre department at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, where she also was Head of Public Relations for the Graduate Theatre Department. She is currently studying Spanish and American Sign Language as well as teaching Voice and Piano in Oak Park, IL--just west of Chicago. Ultimately, she is an aspiring actress headed for the professional acting scene in the Chicagoland area and around the world.
