Hollie Olson- a proficient keyboardist and singer spent over 17 years of her life involved in the music industry. She played in many styles of live acts and traveled all over the western states and Alaska. Being a female in the crazy world of music inspired her to write a humorous memoir of her life on the road. Her book, I’m NOT a Groupie, I’m IN the Band! The Real Life Adventures of a Female Musician, is available soon through her websites. Her book spans the first 14 years in her career. He later years as she began to tire of traveling she performed locally with a female guitarist who also taught fitness classes. This connection gave Hollie the opportunity to transition from full time music work to learning how to teach group fitness. A few short years passed and by the year 2000, Hollie found herself Nationally Certified in Fitness and owing a women’s fitness center where she added a day spa to the facility. She then attended the schooling needed to hire herself in the fields of Permanent Makeup and Esthetics. In 2005 she sold the health club and downsized into her current business Celebrity Spa Services where she rents her space at Kathy’s Hair Unlimited. She has a great clientele and thoroughly enjoys providing the many services she offers. She takes appointments Tues-Sat and her hours vary. Hollie still has her feet in the entertainment world where she works in music as well as takes acting roles in the local Portland film industry.
