My name is Aaron Janzen. I go by A.J. I am a student at the moment at Victoria school of performing and visual arts in Edmonton, Alberta. My only theater experiences include vocal and singing. Musical theater continues to be my favorite route to explore as an art id like to pursue. When I started high school i started i to get involved in the behind the scenes aspect of the theater however when time passed I realized i wanted to start singing again. Kenny Ortega The director of high school musical 1 and 2 has been my inspiration. Just to have a chance to work or be directed by him would be a dream come true. As the school i go to is the top third arts school in north America and the third largest venue in the city of Edmonton. The drama department head Greg Dowler-Coltman is our in school director. He has directed and produced over 22 major school productions and is currently in the works of directing the schools spring musical of Annie, a story of a little orphaned girl in the 1900s. The school library was destroyed by a fire in 2007, needless to say we have recovered and our theater has been continuously fund raising to raise 2 million dollars to renovate and refit the sound and lighting system. Once its up to date the Eva Howard Theater will be good as new. I m going to miss the school and the theater as this is my senior year , but no growing experience will top the one I've had here at Victoria. I perform in front of small audiences agaian
