Randy was born and raised in Baton Rouge Louisiana. After high school, he moved to New Orleans and fell in love with the city's food, music, architecture and people. He took classes at Tulane University in New Orleans before moving to Austin Texas.

Randy graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in government. He started law school, created a popular website on law and government, and assisted in editing the ABA’s Corporate Counseling Committee newsletter. He left law school to study for a health profession. While studying science prerequisites, Randy worked as an extra for a few films. It was then that he discovered how much he enjoyed film making, acting especially.

Randy lives in Gresham Oregon, a Portland suburb. When he isn't working he can be found studying Meisner with Jana Lee Hamblin, organic acting with Jesse Vint, and auditioning and scene work with Karen Lavoie. You can also find him studying film production, browsing books at his local book store, sipping a cup of green tea with mint or ginger at his local coffee shop, or at his local swanky grocery store trying free samples. He enjoys travel, which takes him to many places as an actor in the U.S. and the world (Europe, Africa, South America and Asia).
