Alyssa Orr is originally from Connecticut. She started dancing at the young age of 4 and hasn't stopped since. In middle school she attended summer dance and theater camps, and in high school became very involved with the school drama dept. She was in several plays and musicals throughout her high school career. For Alyssa's senior year of high school she attended a perfoming arts high school located in Hartford, Conn. majoring in Acting. From there she attended Central Connecticut State University for a year also studying Acting until 2004 when she made the big move to New York City and attended The American Musical and Dramatic Academy. She graduated in October of 2006 and is currently auditioning. Alyssa has been in a few recent television projects here in New York including a TV pilot called "The Wedding Album", directed by Andy Tennent, due to air midseason on Fox, and also on New York's very own "Law and Order: Criminal Intent". Alyssa is a hardworking, optimistic, and fun indiviual who is not afraid to take chances!
