It all started when I was in my first drama class. And there was this one time, my class and I were having an acting test, where u had to pretend playing volleyball w/ someone and you’re not allowed to say anything. After I finished, I was surprised at what my drama teacher said. She said, “That’s was really good! Remind me to put your picture on my wall.” That was one of the best days of my life. Those pictures on her wall were special. Only those who can act can have their picture on her wall. And so every very time we had had an acting test, I would always get an “A”. And every time I finish performing my skit or performance, my friends would tell me, “BRAVO” or “hey Ashley you should try acting for a career”. I love going to my acting classes, especially acting out a script or cold read in front of my classmates. I always get this tingling feeling inside my heart. It felt so good, and that told me acting can be so magical when you believe in it. During my leisure time, I would go on the computer, looking for info for school assignments, reading news, and more. One of my favorite hobbies would be to read romantic, mysterious, adventurous, thrilling, suspenseful novels. Sometimes, I adore writing poems on anything that comes up in my mind, from rhyming romance to creativity. When no one is watching, I would turn on my favorite songs and dance like a maniac, or I would dance ballet, even if I never had training. Also, I crave on singing. Because music has been such a big part of my life, singing and listening has always been one of my strongest passions. Whenever I hear a great song, whether it’s a Mozart piano song or a pop song, weirdly, I could feel the music flow through my veins. Also, whenever a great new movie is playing at a theatre, there is no way I wouldn’t go see it!
I love meeting new people. Making new friends and getting to know people, are actually one of the characteristics I adore myself for. Whenever there is a forlorn person sitting at a lunch table at school, I would go up to her/him and chat, giving him/her company and making sure she/him doesn’t feel lonely. A few times each year, my family and I would go travel around the world or go visit relatives outside of the U.S. It makes me so happy to know that we are traveling, fresh new places and experiencing other cultures.
For recreation, I would compose my own song, whether it’s piano or just lyrics, I love making up my own ideas and stuff. Now and then I would sketch fashion outfits and design them. I don’t know why, but I just love designing clothes. When I was a little girl, I wanted three passionate careers. Still now, I yearned to be a full-time actress, desiring to be a role-model for young girls, an intern at a hospital learning to be a surgeon, or a fashion designer, creating fabulous styles for the future world of fashion.
