Her very first written song, "If Only We Had Known" climbed to #26 on the Power Source 100 Inspirational Chart and #24 on Reverbnation. Her new song "My Favorite" is now #24 on Reverbnation.

Sheylyn holds a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education and Elementary Education as well as a certificate in Mediation and Chaplaincy. She taught elementary school for several years. .
