I am a 19 year old inspiring actor and have recently signed up here for information on how to receive roles and such.

I find that acting is possibly the best way for me to express myself
and its all throughout experience.

Ever since I was a kid, I never really talked very much.
I was always extremely quiet, shy and I had a hard time making people understand me
because I was always afraid of saying something that might hurt people.
So I never really took a chance with others very well.

And now, I've finally found an outlet for me.
I don't have to worry about what I say to people anymore when it comes to acting because its all scripted.
I can finally be free to express myself and perform in front of others
and that makes me feel really happy.

Throughout my experience, I find that actual real-life things have to occur
in one's life in order to perform certain roles.
For example, I did not know what love is or how it felt.
I always assumed it was something over-exaggerated, and I'd always make fun of people whenever they'd break up with their girlfriends or boyfriends.

...Until it came to my turn to fall in love in the Summer of 2006,
where I met a boy who...touched my heart...
I finally got to know what it felt like, and of course, I was afraid to lose it...

...The end of the dream for me to keep it all together broke down into pieces,
and that was the end of it.
For I was too afraid of losing him, and I'd always call him constantly.
My other actions made him un-happy, and he broke up with me.

...I now know the pain...I now know this extreme to where such a thing can last for several months...

It's like my karma. Now, its other people's turn...to laugh at me for it...

All this time, I never knew what that felt like.
I was living an oppressed life free of worry, free of extreme pain, and there simply... was no meaning to this kind of life...
Until he brought me out and made me so happy...as I could possibly be...

I once thought that I needed to do acting to prove myself to him,
to show my love and that I'll never let it go, no matter what.
Like some sort of stubborn act.

But, I do understand why I want to do acting.
It's for myself, and for my own self-goals that I want to obtain.

...I want to show the world what I am, and who I am because I want people to acknowledge my existence...
I want to be worthy in this world, and I only feel that this is the only way for me to show.
I will not stop by anything or anyone, this I promise myself.

For the most part, I find acting very inspiring as I watch many films.

The roles that I'd want to take...well, for now, I'd like to try any sort of realistic character with the director's direction of some sort of actual realism or great fantasy.

Lucy Liu - Kill Bill Volume One,
I found that this is something I'd love to do.
I've always wanted to try an action film right off the bat,
and I found that her role as Oren Ishii was one of the most memorable ones ever.

Gael Garcia Bernal - Y tu Mama Tambien & La Mala Educacion
I am in love with this actor and I've never seen one like him before.
His acting is amazing, I am overwhelmed by him every time.
I've watched almost every single movie he's in and am most inspired.
Y tu Mama Tambien for its very classy story and La Mala Educacion for its dark twist.

Michelle Yeoh - Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
One of my personal favorites as well, I've wanted to meet this woman ever since I was a kid. I would always watch her old kung fu movies and I've always wanted to try it out for myself. Her acting is somewhat similar to mine, and I think she is just amazing

Stephen Chow - Shaolin Soccer, Kung Fu Hustle
He is probably my hero. His movies are always so cartoony and full of laughs and yet, it has an emotional twist. When I saw Shaolin Soccer and the scene where the brothers all look at the picture of themselves in the old kung fu days, I felt as though I knew what it felt like. I once had such a connection with my old friends in the past. And Kung Fu Hustle is just full of laughs.

These actors and the movies I mentioned are ones that have very much so inspired me. My aim is to mostly do drama productions. But sometime during my career, I'd like to try some sort of action movie. Aside from these roles that I'd love to play as, I've also found...well, animated movies that I'd like to try.
All coming from mostly Japanese Animes, both series and movies.
And the little list I'm about to make our roles I'd love to try, if any American company decides to create these animes into films or tv show series, I would do anything to get the role.

Anime Series Title - "Fruits Basket"
Honda Tohru, Sohma Yuki, Sohma Shigure, Sohma Hatori, Sohma Hatsuharu, Sohma Hiro, Megumi,

All the characters above are all the people I'd love to try as.
Although Honda Tohru is the main character and a female, I think I'd like to play as her if converted into a male role. She is one character that has inspired me to believe that there are some great people out there, for she is a completely self-less character. I think out of all of these, the role I would most likely do the best of is Sohma Yuki. The mysterious boy who's feelings are only brought out the best by Tohru.

Anime Movie - "Tokyo Babylon"
And then converted into an animated series - "X/1999"

In 1993, a movie and book series came out called "Tokyo Babylon".
The main character is Sumeragi Subaru, a completely pure boy who is only thinking about others. His fate was pre-decided at the age of 9 where he meets a man of the opposing clan of his. At the end of "Tokyo Babylon", they finally continue the story of "X/1999" 6 years later, and even Subaru as well as the other characters grow up.

Subaru is one character I would love to be, that'd be a dream come true.
He is very similar to me and I would do anything to do this role.
Should any director make the Tokyo Babylon into an American movie, I'd love to take on the role.

For the most part of everything listed,
I will most likely try out drama films. I wouldn't mind doing anything adventurous, fantasy, and some quirky comedies. I'd like to vary around and try out as much as I can to gain experience.
