WHO IS AMBER ALGER?

.Amber Alger was born December 14th 1977 in Gilroy, CA. She was born Amber Dawn Alger. She has 4 younger sisters Emily, Rachael, Candice and Danielle. They were raised by both parents, Don and Nancy who later in 1999 divorced and remarried other people years after that.

As a young girl, Amber has been described as imaginative, spontaneous, outgoing, busy, and ambitious by family and friends. Amber has always been Independent and doing things her own way. She was impatient to learn new things and would often self-teach herself how to do whatever that may be, and heart desired.

In third grade her parents decided to corner the energy she had by putting her in gymnastics. She thrived and excelled very quickly. However the coaches approached Amber's parents telling them they thought she would be a better fit for acting or dancing classes and suggested both. Being that Amber's parents couldn't afford both, they put her in the one they could, dancing. Once again Amber excelled very quickly. In 6th grade, Amber took up violin and Viola lessons to add to her many talents she was already doing.

Amber's parents encouraged her to take the drama classes in Junior High. She did. She became so serious about learning in the acting field that she didn't audition for roles. But rather just wanted to learn all she could first and she continued dance classes. During this time, Amber also signed up to be in the school band where she learned to play the flute and piccolo to which she continued to do all the way into high school.

Amber went onto high school where she continued her drama classes, band classes, Violin and Viola classes, dance classes and joined the marching band, at which time Amber also taught herself how to play the piano in her spare time. Her first year in high school drama class was just learning some more about acting. But then she went on to perform multiple monologues, one-act plays and theater performances all along with the other extra curricular activities she was already doing.

In her spare time she took up writing. A poem she wrote was featured in the local grade school newsletter she attended years prior, in the junior high school newsletter she attended years prior, in the high school newsletter she was attending and in the local newspaper. The poem won first place in a talent show under creative writing. She went on to write a play and it too was featured in the high school newsletter and local newspaper. She went on to direct it where she also played the lead character. With graduation around the corner, she continued her studies and graduated in 1996.

Shortly after Amber graduated, Amber was blessed with four children. Mikali, Jaide, Alea and Mason. As the years went by, she did comedy entertainment parties for adults. She continued her dancing and went to college, where she gained her BBA. She currently works as an associate producer.
