Biography and Trivia

American/ Canadian actor and model, he is currently transitioning form a successful career in consulting and corporate management into a fulltime career in film and modeling- a longtime dream and passion- this after having received great reviews and positive feedback from renowned producers and directors in the industry. Michael is presently working with a well experienced coach and mentor to develop and hone in the art of acting.

Beautiful Island of Oahu in the Hawaiian island chain is currently home for Michael, but his private home in Canada’s Barrie Ontario is his destination of choice for peace and quiet time, also to recharge his batteries. Canada has been Michael’s home for the past few years where he previously owned a private consulting firm in Toronto Ontario- he did the daily 5Am commute to the big city; an hour drive each way for 10 years.

Michael has traveled over two and a half times around the world with his parents as a boy, before finally visiting and settling down in Canada. He has visited many countries in Europe, Asia and Africa, also was schooled in many of those countries.

Michael’s father, a graduate of UCLA with Master of Arts and University of Hawaii at Manoa with PhD Phi Beta Kappa was a professor of geomorphology and cartography to Universities around the world and a consultant to governments in Marine erosion, volcanology and plate tectonics. His mother, trained at the teacher’s collage of London was a special education teacher- special educator for children with learning disability and dyslexia, she was also an English language teacher.
Hobbies of Michael are mainly outdoor activities such as horseback riding, surfing, flying, jogging, hiking, playing tennis, football and baseball. Indoor activates include, working out with weights and swimming lengths at the YMCA pool in Honolulu. Being surrounded by the ocean, beach going is a favorite pastime also for Michael.

It has been a long road for Michael, with many false starts disappointments and letdowns along the way. But, he is a true trooper, picks himself up, marks it as a lesson learned and marches on. “Our greatest glory is not ever falling down, but learning to rise after each fall.” Confucius

As alluded to above, Michael was not always an actor and a model, his background and accolades are in business. He has held various positions in sales, marketing, production, transportation operations and supply chain management for Major Corporation in the public and private sector; both in the United States and Canada.
Michael’s accolades include corporate restructuring- warehouse re-engineering, workforce retraining and reclassification, sales/ marketing. Also consulting to various retail and manufacturing companies. Additionally, he has been involved in arbitration and grievance programs for corporations with unionized workforce; including the participation of the modification of a labor article for a major Canadian Crown Corporation.

During the past 10 years Michael has been involved in two business start-ups which included articles of incorporation, product branding, pricing and roll-out to name a few.

Michael’s diverse interest also includes politics where he has worked with the Liberals Party of Canada on the reelections teams of Herb Grey, Sandra Pupatello and Aileen Carroll. Most recently he was involved in both the 2008 and 2012 US Presidential election campaign; he held the position of Field Director for the Democratic Party of Hawaii. All of this political campaigning excitement has left Michael with the feeling that there may be a political future for him sometime in the future…nothing conformed yet, just a speculation.
