Pleasant Wayne was born in Iowa in 1975 to parents of English hertiage. She grew up in Colorado and was a member of the Living Word which was a progressive unorthodox spiritual movement.

She dreamed of a career within the entertainment community.

She took her first step toward the profession in 1993 where she performed in various community theater and choral productions. From there, she concentrated her college studies in Communications, Psychology and Philosophy knowing that these schools of thought would lend depth to her career in acting.

She moved to Los Angeles in 2003 and began to work within the acting and spokesmodeling fields. Appearing on television shows, in short films, theater productions and fashion shows, she has befriended many established members of the entertainment industry.

Pleasant is an avid user of natural skin care products, supports organic farming, natural fuel research and alternative medicine practices.

She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and eligible to join the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA).

Pleasant continues to sharpen her skills as a dramatic and comedic actress and model and approaches every role as an opportunity to showcase her talent and professionalism.
