Kashuna (aka G.R.I.T.S.- Girl Raised in the South) is a Gospel Comedienne/ Actress born & raised in North Carolina. She has been ministering Gospel for over 5 years. She has emceed alongside Dr. Bobby Jones, opened for Vickie Winans and shared the stage with many industry greats. She has performed in such venues as the National Collegiate Music Conference, McCormick Place for the Today’s Black Woman Expo, Women’s Spa Day National Tour, Apple Tree Theatre, Fleetwood Jourdain Theatre and others. Kashuna has starred in several plays including, "I've Been Changed", "A Man that Finds a Wife, Finds a Good Thing", "Realities" and most recently as Mama in “A Raisin in the Sun”.
