Hello!

My name is Briana Bauer and I am 20 years old. I currently am studying at the University of Utah, majoring in the ballet program but go back and forth between Salt Lake city and my home in Las Angeles. I started ballet at the age of seven with a French teacher and later switched to the Vagoniva method, which helped me to thrive and develop a strong placement in my technique. Other forms of dance include jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, ballroom, and musical theater. Growing up I participated in many plays that led me to realize my other love for theater. I love being in front of a live audience and performing to my fullest, not holding back. Musicals are my favorite type of play to do, since you get to sing, dance, and act all of which I feel comfortable and secure in. The stage opens up an endless world of possibilities and offers me the excitement to explore and open myself up so that people can feel exactly what I am feeling in the moment. There is no safety net between live theater and the performer. The actor must be completely vulnerable in order for the audience member to feel the emotion that is being conveyed.
