J. Shawn Durham is a writer/journalist who mines topics that challenge the conventional wisdom of the Zeitgeist.
A veteran of newspapers, magazines and blogs, Durham has penned many works that probe dating and the war of the sexes, politics and sports. His debut novel, "The Broke Brothers' Revolution," is a provocative, refreshingly honest look at how men and women woefully play the expectations game when it comes to sex and courtship. What begins as a satirical farce turns into a moving treatise on the current state of manhood in the 21st century.
"The Broke Brothers' Revolution" is the first project from Shawn's JSD, Ink publishing outfit. While Shawn will spend 2013 promoting The BBR brand and merchandise, in 2014, JSD, Ink will release two more titles - one by Durham and one from another author.
A native of Macon, Georgia, Durham currently resides in Washington, D.C. .
