My Name is Joe Johnson, I was born 9/8/89 in Baltimore Maryland. My parents are divocred and my mother is remarried. My life is not easy, but it is as good as it can be right now. I enjoy hanging out at the mall with my friends or just walking around Wal-Mart with them.

I am not your average guy, I am more than average. I love what I do and love my life. I have been acting and singing since I was very little. I am trained very strongly in musical theatre, I can belt up to the high A, with falsetto up to the D. I can also do operatic voice, but I am not trained as well in that. I have been privilaged to work with David Reimschussel for Two Years as a Voice Student, A student at the Upper Chesapeake Summer Center for the Arts at Washington College in Chestertown Maryland where I studied Voice under David R. and Bridget Crawford.

My voice Teacher at home is an alumni of the prestigous Shendoah Conservatory in Virginia, he has taught me musical theatre, which I love with a passion beyond words. My favorite show is Disney's Aida, and the song I absolulety adore is every story is a love story/Fortune Favors the Brave. I want to be on broadway one day and hope to make a career in music. I cannot afford to go to a regular college to study music, and all the scholarships require an audition on site. Unfortunatley, I am not privilaged to be able to go to these auditions as my mother is ill with several medical conditions, and I stay with her as often as I can to take care of her. Also we don't have the money to visit the colleges for the auditions. I will be attending Harford Community College in Churchville Maryland this upcoming fall to study music, and keep working to make a living.

My current job is great, but it is not what I want. I am a prep cook at a local buffet and truck stop. The pay is not much and almost all of my pay goes to my mother for my car insurance. Thus I really can't afford to do too much. Unfortunatley, opprotunity in America is only for those with money. I want to prove that wrong. I am a talented person and I want to prove to the world that you don't need money or you don't have to have connections to make it big one day.
