About me
Santa Clarita, California, United States
Gitte Pedersen is a Danish-American writer and actor. While researching and writing her first screenplay, Willfully Blind, Gitte choose to further explore the intricacies of the entertainment business by accepting bookings on a slew of TV shows and feature films. Gitte's early booking as a native October Fest dancer in THE WEDDING BAND (2012), a TV comedy featuring Brian Austin Greene, was quickly followed by bookings on other prime time TV shows, including JUSTIFIED, IN THE MIDDLE, and on NBC's pilot ABOUT A BOY (2014).
Gitte earned her first SAG credit on the feature film THE INCREDIBLE BURT WONDERSTONE (2012), directed by Don Scardino and featuring Jim Carrey, Steve Carrell, Steve Buschemi, James Galdolphini and Olivia Wilde.
While Gitte is born and raised in Scandinavian, she is often mistaken as being of Middle Eastern or Arabic decent. Her expressive big brown eyes have often been compared to the eyes of Natalie Wood.
