KUTCHA’S BIO:

Born in Seoul Korea and moved to the United States as a young child. Of mix heritage whose father is of African American decent and an avid jazz musician. And mother of Korean heritage that ran a family business. Kutcha later moved to New York City to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

Kutcha has studied with the late Tina Satin who coached the Academy Award Actor Denzel Washington. He has built a handsome body of work in the area of Television, Film and Theatre. His most recent television credits are “As the World Turns” which has developed into a recurring role as the fashion photographer for the character Barbara Ryan and “Striped Search” directed by Sidney Lumet as the salesman. Some of Kutcha’s film work can be seen in “Goldfish” and “Larges Ark”. His performance as The Kid in the staged production of “Requiem for a Heavyweight” at the Kraine Theatre received rave reviews from the New York Times.

Through his pursuits as an actor, he has found his way into some of New York’s competitive commercial and fashion agencies. He has landed such illustrious campaigns as, a national Nike commercial, Sharp Electronics and American Express.

He recently landed the coveted role as the undercover Interpol Agent in the Andrew Niccol film “Lord of War”. Striking the iron while hot, Kutcha auditioned for the stage production of “Blues for Mr. Charlie” one of many well known stage plays by James Baldwin and landed the role of Lorenzo.
