Mireille van der Laan is a young, new and enthusiastic actress focused primarily in the film and theatre area’s. She first got the acting bug at the age of six when performing in several theatre plays and she had the opportunity to play the lead in a high school production of Noorderlicht (aurora borealis). Since then Mireille has performed in numerous plays including the lead in Shakespeare’s A Midwinter’s Tale, done Dutch voice acting for Disney’s Mister Young, and has appeared in several Dutch television shows as juror like ‘Wie wordt Kruimeltje‘ and in television series like Penoza, which was recently sold to ABC.

Mireille has been recognized for her ability to bring a script to life and create believable characters, as well as for her dedication to the acting craft. She has completed the summer program at the American Acadamy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, done numerous workshops and courses in the performing arts, including drama, dance and singing with leading Dutch casting directors, including Harry Klooster and Josja Hamann, famous Dutch actor Rutger Hauer and all famous director Paul Verhoeven.
