I think that the fact that I would be in the movie would give you a tremendous advantage in both the Midwest and New England markets. Raised in Ohio, and having a tremendous following in Indiana, there are plenty of promotional opportunities at my disposal. There are also many New England area residents that have taken an interest in my career after stories have been ran in the paper and on NBC about me being potentially the oldest rookie to ever play football. Also, I am a high school footbal... Morel coach of a team that just won the state championship in Maine.
I recently played a football extra on âThe Rockâsâ new Disney Movie called âThe Game Planâ due to hit theaters Summer 07.

I am a 6'0" 212 pound OLB, SS, DE and special teams player that ran the 40 yd dash in 4.47 seconds. I bench 480 pounds and can bench press 225 pounds 26 times. In fact, I recently filmed an episode for the new âGreg Behrendt Showâ of the WB network that will air next month on a segment called âsecond chancesâ

It could be a PR Dream. Everyone that reads or see the story on television respond significantly. SI, ESPN all have responded favorably doing the story once I sign with a Squad.
The Sun-Journal did a feature story on me in the Portland Maine area, and the local NBC affiliate for NBC (Portland) is also preparing a media special.

They also did a nice story for NBC and CBS news on me. For the story contact Rick Semmler, Terre Haute Indiana NBC affiliate or rsemmler@wtwo.com.
I will be also competing on the second season of the reality show âJoeâs vs. Prosâ on SPIKE TV.
Everyone tells me at 42, I am wasting my time, and that no team in their right mind would give me a chance. Most of my experience has come in semi-pro with the Evansville Vipers where I played fullback. At 42, I am 15 years older than anyone that I am playing against. I have been told many times that I am too old to play against all of this young talent. If I listened to them, I would have quit a couple of years ago. I really want to make a statement once and for all that anything is possible. I am training very hard to prove it and there will be a lot of people scratching their heads once I see that hard work pay off. You might be thinking what everyone else is thinking: "How could a 42 year old be in shape to play football?" HEART. That is what keeps driving me, and I will not give up until this dream comes true.
I am looking for an opportunity to encourage kids and athletes throughout the country, and with my heart alone, could drive others to be champions. You have the opportunity for an amazing media blitz that would grab the attention of your local and national media. In the shadow of "The Rookie", I was encouraged to play again by my High School football team, as a coach, and after my tryout, began playing with the Evansville Vipers, which ended the year in first place in their Division, and a record of 11-2. I am in incredible shape, after spending my first ten years in the United States Marine Corps. In doing so, I do not suffer from any of the long term physical injuries most players would probably endure for someone my age. Just think of what it would do for the older athletes in this country as well as the high school kids who are told that they have no shot in ever making it.
