Dan received his B.A. in Theatre Arts from Drew University. He has studied stage combat with the British Academy of Stage and Screen Combat, plus workshops and classes here in New York. Dan has also studied combat through 11 years of competitive fencing (both local and national) and 6 years of studying Sambo, Judo, Jujitsu, and Kickboxing with Dayn DeRose at South Mountain Martial Arts. As Fight choreographer for Drew University Dan has worked on âHello Out Thereâ, âThe Dumb Wa... Moreiterâ, âPterodactylsâ, âPhaedraâ, âThe Elephant Manâ, âThe Romancersâ, âUp, Down, Strange, Charm, Beauty, and Truthâ, âThe Indian Wants the Bronxâ, âZoo Storyâ, and many others. Dan has worked with the Legitimate Theater Company doing fight choreography for their production of âMilk and Peanut Butterâ written by Richard Lovejoy and performed in their last production of âTwelfth Night: The Drinking Gameâ as Fabian. This past year Dan has worked with the Wellesley Shakespeare Society doing fight choreography for âRichard IIIâ and âRomeo and Julietâ, has performed and choreographed for the independent film âCrusaders: Pop Goes the Divaâ, and has performed and choreographed for the Tennessee Projectsâ production of âHow to Raise the Deadâ.
