Bruce Spielbauer has been acting since he was 14, and he performed exclusively on stage for 20 years, including seven years of professional summer repretory theater on a riverboat on the Mississippi River. More recently, he has switched over to film and television, and his extensive credits include leading roles in the film Body In A Dumpster (2009); Dust (2009); Bled White (2008, a creepy horror movie) and Scarlet X (2010). All of these were indie feature films. Other feature films include QW... MoreERTY (2010), Dead Sexy (2009), New Day (2009) and Dark Nemesis (2009). Bruce also has done several short films for the festival circuit and he had a leading roles in the short films Kindred, and a horror short called Grieves. Bruce had a supporting role in The Ballbusters, a terrific comedy (feature film) which is now in post-production. Other work includes supporting roles in such feature films as The Truth About Average Guys (which just won Best Comedy and Best Film at Traildance), Driver's Ed Mutiny, Perhaps, Somewhre, and others. On television, Bruce recently wrapped an episode of Undercover: Double Life for The Discovery Channel, which aired in March, 2009. He also can be seen in Entrapment -- a TV pilot for Fox -- and Rock Hero, another TV Pilot. In his spare time, Bruce often works as an extra or a stand-in, and he can be seen in The Dark Knight. Other extra roles in the past have included appearances in The Fugitive, Just Visiting, Moâ Money, Rapid Fire, The Babe, and U.S. Marshals with Tommy Lee Jones. Bruceâs stage experience includes more than 100 productions.
