Born in Baltimore, Maryland, LaSonia started her career modeling and acting at age 8 with various community based organizations and companies. Finding not only a love but a niche for both disciplines, LaSonia began training at various modeling schools in the Virginia/Maryland area as well as receiving her theatre training at The Arena Players, The Milk & Honey Theatre Company and The P.E.A.C.E. Project where she was casted in a documentary produced and hosted by Jada Pinket.

After graduating High School two years early at the age of 15 LaSonia went on to attend Coppin State College now Coppin State University. LaSonia kicked off her Freshman year as co chair of Homecoming 1998 where her love for the music business would take root.
Her adoration for the Entertainment industry translates to all aspects, which she proved when she started the first full fledge street team at Coppin State College through the organization she co founded with fellow Coppine students Mr. Keith Reed & Arnold Cole. Never losing her love for the runway LaSonia joined the Coppin Models and would go onto producing her first hair and fashion show bringing to the stage her first of many fashion shows "This is Hip Hop" a 30 year story of Hip Hop through fashion. She would go on to coordinate & produce step-shows, concerts and fashion shows throughout her now 12 year careerâ those shows went on to sell out such venues as The Baltimore Convention Center, the 1st Mariner Arena, The DC Armory,The Baltimore World Trade Center and various venues in Virginia Beach & Washington, DC. After overwhelming success in the industry throughout the mid-atlantic LaSonia would take a small break to work at Johns Hopkins University as a youth mentor and lead research assistant for the Steppin Up Project.
Not losing her passion and love for the entertainment industry, LaSonia delved back into the field when she took the job as model coach at a Talent Academy in the Greater Baltimore area. After being there for only a year LaSoniaâs knowledge and experience in the industry would lead them to offer her the position of Branding Director for the parent company. LaSonia was named VP of Branding & Talent Management where she displayed her vast knowledge & expertise in all fields from Marketing, Coaching Models & Actors, Public Relation and producing national & international events until her departure in 2013.
As LaSonia continues to breathe life into her career by starting LCK Consulting; she is excited to be embarking on this new journey. Her meticulous eye, enthusiasm and overall spirit makes her the perfect person to link industry professionals to maximize their exposure.
She also is very serious about her community, she is a member of the Order of Eastern Star, is an Americorp Alum and Founder of Alpha Zeta Gamma Sorority, Inc. Overall LaSonia has enjoyed amazing opportunities and success yet she never stops and looks to build on to her resume and reach beyond the STARS in everything she does and will do. LaSonia truly believes that without Christ in her life none of this would be possible.
