Raised in the south suburbs and the city of Chicago, Chris Loveâs love of entertainment was sparked by his father and uncle, who introduced him to the music industry at an early age.
Pursuing sports as a teenager, Chris began his college career playing football and basketball at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa. In between sports and formal academic courses, Chris took theater performanc... Moree classes as an elective. As Chrisâ interests shifted towards music his sophomore year, he decided to transfer to Benedictine University in Naperville, Illinois to be closer to his hometown and the Chicago music scene.
After earning his Bachelorâs degree in Business Management, Chris released his first independent album in October 2010 appropriately titled, âLove Muzikâ. Chris not only provided vocal talent to this project, he also wrote and produced the entire album.
After this, Chris expanded his musical talents by working on projects that involved scores and soundtracks of films. It was here that Chris was introduced to the world of film- a world that has become his passion. Focusing on acting and directing, Chris has appeared in various short films and music videos as well as a feature film âThe Measuresâ, currently in production. Chris is the writer, director and lead actor of this film.
As an actor, Chris is compelled by thoughtful and meaningful stories audiences can relate to. He firmly believes in the transformative power of film- as a social, political, emotional, and humanistic force.
