My name is Yvonne Newton. I am currently attending High School in Pennsylvania. I love to act, sing, and do impressions. I love Opera, and Broadway. In my spare time I cheer, practice martial arts, and act at my local theatre.
The most recent play I was in was titled "Evening Star". I had the lead role as boy-struck teen girl 'Olivia Pena'.This character challenged me to go into a world where I wasn't even alive at the time, and had no idea of what was going on. But, ... MoreI researched my role, and did it perfectly.
I have a great personality, and I am always able to change, if you will, to set myself into a character. I'm a very nice person, and always get along with people I just met.
I recently was an extra in the independent film, "Silent". We worked in freezing cold weather, and rain storms. Yet, I stuck it through. And never once complained. My director said that was a great quality.
I'm also very good with equipment. I have studied video cameras, taping styles, and various tricks to get the perfect shot. some say I'm good on tape and behind the scenes.
I'm very tough, but I always keep going. I am also very strong. My father is a martial arts specialist, so I practice with him every day, for at least 3 hours a day. I am trained in Wo-Tai, Jui-Jitsu, Self defense technique and special weapons. So, yes, I can kick very high.=). I also grapple. Which is a form of wrestling, but only with more submission.
