Shaula attended The Lee Strasberg Theater Institute of Los Angeles and has worked extensively in theater, television and film in her native Mexico as well as in Los Angeles and New York. Her film debut came in the film "Original Sin" with Antonio Banderas and Angelina Jolie. She currently stars in the family film "Canela" sharing the screen with veteran actress Ana Martin as well as an amazing supproting cast, premiering spring 2011. She guest starred in the play "The Go... Moreod Canary" Directed by John Malkovich, sharing the stage with Diego Luna, Irene Azuela and Daniel Jimenez Cacho as Sylvia. Her film "No eres tu soy yo" (2010) Warner Brothers release where she guest starred with Eugenio Derbez and Martina Garcia, has broken box office records in her native Mexico as well as the international latin film market.
Also starred in the breakthrough web novela "Vidas Cruzadas" (2009 Univision) sharing the screen with Kate del Castillo and Guy Ecker, breaking web records reaching over 3 million viewers. She starred with Kate del Castillo and Eduardo Palomo on the television series "Ramona" as the evil Manuela. She co-starred with Eugenio Derbez in the musical hit "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" (Mexico 2008) that played at the prestigious Teatro de los Insurgentes in Mexico City where she played Heiress Jolene Oakley. She Co-hosted the hit television show "WAX" (2009) as well as had her own television show on a local Latino network in Los Angeles "Emparejate" which became the highest rated Spanish television show in it's 3 season run. She worked as a professional dancer with an array of Pop stars including Prince, Carmen Electra, Dave Navarro, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kid Rock, Juvenile, Michael Jackson, Shaggy, Janet Jackson, Queen Latifah.
